What are Express Books at the La Jolla Library?

 

Simply put—they are the latest bestsellers that are available to checkout only from our La Jolla Library.

 

Through the generous support of the Friends of the La Jolla Library, we have our own private collection of Adult/Young Adult bestsellers that we lease from publishers on a yearly basis. This collection is only available in the special section of our library called Express Books. They are not visible on the San Diego Public Library Catalog, so you must browse the shelves in person and discover your treasure. Due to their popularity, they are only available for a 30 day check out period, so that we can provide the most variety to you, our beloved patrons!
